Role Overview
The Business Head Pump and Collar will be responsible for the overall leadership strategic direction and operational management of the pumps and collars product line within the perfume packaging segment. This role demands a blend of technical knowledge business acumen and leadership skills to ensure market competitiveness product quality and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the business strategy for the Pump and Collar division aligned with the companys overall goals.
- Identify new market opportunities customer segments and potential partnerships to expand the business footprint.
- Monitor industry trends competitor activities and regulatory changes to proactively adjust strategies.
Business Development & Sales
- Drive sales growth by developing robust customer relationships with perfume brands packaging companies and distributors.
- Lead contract negotiations pricing strategies and customer service initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with marketing to position products effectively in the market and support promotional campaigns.
Product Management & Innovation
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle of pumps and collars from conceptualization and design to manufacturing and quality control.
- Work closely with R&D teams to innovate new product designs that meet evolving market needs and sustainability standards.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure the procurement of highquality raw materials at competitive prices.
Operations & Quality Assurance
- Ensure production schedules meet business demands without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
Financial Management
- Prepare budgets forecasts and financial reports for the Pump and Collar division.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales revenue profit margins cost control and inventory turnover.
- Take corrective actions to address financial variances and improve profitability.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build mentor and lead a highperforming team including sales production quality control and supply chain personnel.
- Foster a culture of collaboration accountability and innovation within the team.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the perfume/fragrance packaging industry or related cosmetic goods sector.
- Proven track record in managing business units or product lines preferably pumps and collars or similar packaging components.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to plastic injection molding assembly and quality assurance.
- Excellent leadership negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and financial reports to drive strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulatory compliance in packaging.
