HSE OFFICER
Company: KN International
Location: Al Dhafrah Western Region
Job Type: FullTime
Job Summary:
KN International is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards onsite conducting safety inspections and promoting a strong safety culture among all project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement HSE policies procedures and regulatory requirements in line with company and industry standards.
- Monitor HSE performance and recommend corrective actions to improve workplace safety.
- Conduct site inspections hazard assessments and risk evaluations ensuring compliance with approved safety measures.
- Collaborate with Safety Managers and Contractors to implement HSE best practices and address safety concerns.
- Review Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) risk assessments and work method statements for all critical activities.
- Conduct toolbox talks HSE briefings and safety training sessions to reinforce safe work practices.
- Oversee and enforce the PermittoWork system ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in incident/accident investigations prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE statistics safety reports and compliance documentation.
- Assist in conducting emergency response drills and ensuring preparedness for workplace hazards.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Diploma or equivalent as a minimum requirement.
- Diploma in Health & Safety Management or equivalent certification.
- Recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH OSHAD ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification First Aid Fire Safety or other UAEapproved training.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE roles within infrastructure and sewerage projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations risk management practices and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with project teams.
- Previous TAQA Water Solutions (SWS/ADSSC) approval is preferred.
