Job Description

The role of Project Data Analyst/Admin Assistant is multifaceted and encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

Data Collection: The incumbent is responsible for the systematic identification and collection of relevant data from a multitude of sources. These sources may include internal databases organizational systems external vendor platforms and client data sources.

Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data is paramount. This involves conducting regular quality checks and audits promptly rectifying any errors or inconsistencies detected during the process.

Data Management: Efficiently storing and organizing data is a fundamental aspect of the role. Utilizing appropriate tools and technologies the Junior Project Data Analyst ensures that data is kept secure and readily accessible.

Collaboration: Effective collaboration with the project team is vital. This includes identifying data requirements making sure that data is leveraged effectively to support project operations and delivery and aligning data management practices with project goals.

Database Maintenance: The role also involves maintaining databases in a manner that is both accurate and complete ensuring that the data is easily accessible for projectrelated activities.

Team Support: Close cooperation with team members is essential to ensure consistency in data management practices and provide support as needed. This may include aiding in the preparation of data masters reports and other materials pertaining to the project.
Data Systems Maintenance: Junior Project Data Analysts play a pivotal role in maintaining data systems and spearheading the development and implementation of datadriven processes supporting datarelated projects and initiatives.

Client Deliverable Tracking: Tracking and recording client deliverables in a master data record to align with the projects delivery plan.

Industry Knowledge: Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization is crucial to ensure the project remains at the forefront of data management excellence.

Project Coordination: Coordinating tasks and schedules for the project team is an integral part of the role helping to ensure smooth project operations.

System and Platform Management: Managing systems and educational platforms and providing the necessary support to team members.

Event Support: Assisting the team in various projectrelated events ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

Research and Proposal Creation: Conducting research and creating proposals for various project bidding activities contributing to the growth and success of the project.

Presentation Material: Aiding in the creation of materials and reports for presentations to clients and stakeholders enhancing communication and transparency.

Administrative Assistance:

Provide administrative support to the team including scheduling meetings maintaining calendars and coordinating events.

Manage and maintain filing systems both digital and physical ensuring easy retrieval of documents.

Assist with office supplies management inventory tracking and order processing.

Handle general correspondence (emails phone calls etc. and direct inquiries to appropriate departments or personnel.

Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and databases for administrative task.

Assist with internal reporting requirements ensuring deadlines are met.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Data Science Statistics or Administration).

  • Proven experience in data analysis including proficiency with tools such as Excel SQL and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau Power BI).

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).

  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy.

Preferred:

  • Experience with data cleaning and transformation tools like Python or R.

  • Familiarity with administrative duties like scheduling filing and managing office supplies.

  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think analytically.

  • Experience working in a teamoriented collaborative environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

  • Adaptability in a fastpaced environment with shifting priorities.
