DescriptionJob Summary:
The Proposal Manager plays a crucial role in securing new business opportunities for MSOL (Measurement Solutions) Business Unit. This role requires a highly motivated and resultsoriented individual with strong project management leadership and communication skills. This is a critical role that will support in strategically positioning the business unit to win projects by leading the team in the development and submission of competitive highquality proposals and bids in response to client Requests for Proposals (RFPs) tenders and other competitive opportunities. This role will be reporting to the Customer Care Director
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead the effective proposal development process:
- Lead a team that delivers competitive and winning proposals in a timely manner which is aligned to bidding schedule. Strategically optimize work within the proposal group.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Sales organization to ensure alignment of proposal priorities and ensure critical projects pursuits are supported in a timely manner.
- Analyze RFPs and other bid documents to understand client requirements timelines evaluation criteria and prioritization criteria & process.
- Develop compelling and persuasive proposal narratives including executive summaries project methodologies work plans and pricing strategies.
- Gather and synthesize information from various sources including subject matter experts technical teams and financial departments.
- Lead the proposal development timeline and ensure timely delivery of highquality deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal collaborators including sales marketing technical and legal teams to ensure seamless proposal development and submission.
- Generate business insights and valuecreation for the organization & for the customers:
- Analyze competitor proposals and identify areas for differentiation and improvement.
- Develop strategies in proposal management that will support increase of quote hitrate competitively position our proposals to win projects.
- Track proposal submissions win rates & analyze loss reasons
- Monitor proposal submissions and supervise key performance indicators (critical metrics) such as win rates proposal turnaround times and client satisfaction.
- Analyze proposal feedback and identify areas for improvement in future proposals including new proposal processes automations or new strategies
- Build and maintain relationships with clients & internal partners:
- Present proposals to clients and answer any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with internal customers in defining proposal strategies & prioritization consistent achievement of proposal TATs while handling the volume and dynamics of customer requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and team members (Sales Business Development Finance Legal Compliance)
- Leading and developing teams:
- Lead a proposals team which delivers successful proposals in response to RFPs and tenders.
- Support the team in handling and balancing proposal priorities & speed of proposal submission while ensuring proposals are of high quality
- Drive continuous improvement in the team through establishing effective & efficient processes which are reviewed and calibrated regularly through process audit
- Champion innovation and automation to optimize productivity alongside quality
- Adhere to Health Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

For this Role You Will Need:
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Bachelors degree Business Administration Marketing Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in project proposal writing bid management or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling a proposals team which delivers successful proposals in response to RFPs and tenders.
- Proposal writing and editing
- Good knowledge of Project management tools CRM software & Proposal automation tools
