Orbit ISS is seeking a dynamic and experienced QA/QC Operations Manager (Oil and Gas)with a solid background in inspection quality control and service execution within the oil & gas and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with a Third-Party Inspection (TPI) company and demonstrate strong leadership in managing inspection and testing operations. Proficiency in handling client communications preparing technical proposals mobilizing inspectors and ensuring compliance with international standards (API ASME ISO) is essential. The candidate must also be skilled in utilizing digital tools and driving operational excellence through process improvements and strategic planning.

Role Overview:

  • Previous experience with a Third-Party Inspection (TPI) company is desirable.
  • Lead the execution of inspection and testing services ensuring quality compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Manage technical teams resource allocation and inspector mobilization to meet project demands.
  • Serve as the primary technical and commercial interface for clients addressing requirements clarifications and issue resolution.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals for tenders and client presentations.
  • Identify service improvement and expansion opportunities based on market trends and client needs.
  • Drive process optimization and digitalization to enhance service delivery and competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (API ASME ISO) and support internal audits accreditations and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by aligning technical capabilities with business growth objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication with client focal points for scheduling updates and feedback.
  • Address client queries and escalate issues requiring management intervention.
  • Attend and moderate meetings with clients management and internal teams.
  • Drive operational efficiency through continuous process improvements and digital tools.
  • Conversant with SRM software for vendor portal registration and qualification processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
  • 815 years in Inspection Quality control & Survey (with at least 35 years in leadership).
  • Well knowledge in QA/QC activities for Source inspections
  • Strong knowledge of international codes and inspection practices (API ASME AWS ISO etc.).
  • Experience with accreditations (ISO/IEC).
  • Strong communication in English leadership and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with digital tools (Inspection software ERP SRM CRM).
  • Should have UAE Driving license.

Additional Qualifications:

Preferred nationalities: Filipino Indian Jordanian Egyptian or Emirati.
Must hold a valid CSWIP certification.
Proven experience as a Senior Inspector or QC Supervisor.
Strong background in the Oil and Gas industry.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an office environment involving client management supplier coordination and stakeholder communication.
At least 3 years of experience in a management role within the Oil and Gas sector.
Minimum of 2 years experience in planning scheduling manpower allocation and monitoring project activities.
Experience in preparing quotations cost estimation budgeting and procurement processes.
Must have experience in Marine Ports Oil Field Renewable Third-Party Inspections.
Experience in worldwide vendor inspection coordination.
Capable of handling other company branches.
Preferred candidate height: 6 feet.
