Job Description

Qualities & Experience:

  • 15 years of relevant experience but open to be challenged
  • Demonstratable senior level leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders
  • Operate in technical and commercial decisionmaking discussions with confidence to work at all levels of a client organisation
  • Be familiar with a consulting business commercial approach (high margin lower billability)

Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Relevant technical or business degree (i.e. engineering)
  • Advanced degrees viewed favourably
  • Must be based in EMEA. Major Worley hub locations are preferred (London Dammam The Hague Abu Dhabi)
  • English language skills and preferably a second language
  • Willing to travel on semifrequent shortduration international business trips
  • We are open to considering parttime and flexible working arrangements. Job shares for example is something we would be happy to explore.

The regional (EMEA) Worley Consulting team is expanding again this year building on a successful strategy update and targeted hiring in the past year. Individuals with nontraditional backgrounds are welcome but must have a consulting mindset to support business growth into new energyrelated areas and to help existing clients navigate the energy transition. This role concentrates on supporting upstream midstream and LNG clients focussing on integrated gas decarbonisation and highend consulting support.


Role And Responsibilities

Senior role within our EMEA consulting practice reporting through the Upstream Midstream & LNG (UMLNG) business line to the Regional Director. The candidate(s) will be a member of the team providing strategic consulting services supporting traditional hydrocarbons operators and investors.

Career path following a technical or business management route with international placements encouraged.

The opportunity to set your direction and to focus on consulting engagements that energise you and make a difference in the areas you are passionate about. This job description is intentionally broad to enable new ideas and experience to have an impact in this relatively traditional industry.

  • Own key client accounts and develop new opportunities
  • Line management of 46 people
  • Own delivery of projects with responsibility for safe scope delivery legal compliance and financial performance
  • Standin for the Regional Director internally and externally
  • Lead client engagements and project covering subject areas such as:

Traditional greenfield and brownfield upstream and midstream (including terminals shipping and pipelines) developments specialising in low carbon fuels (including LNG) and renewables

Technical and commercial due diligence on behalf of financial institutions and owners

Repurposing of assets for low carbon and renewable energy vectors

Identification of decarbonisation pathways for customers

Asset and portfolio optimisation to reduce carbon footprint

  • Develop future talent through onthejob development and mentoring
  • Support the growth of the consulting business and assist with commercial and strategic development activities
