Job Description

The role of the Human Capital Senior Manager is to focus on the alignment of LEC’s business strategy, as per the best practices for talent management, contributing to the planning, design and implementation of talent development programs. This role will work closely with the business to ensure continuous organizational performance improvement across Leisure, Entertainment & Cinemas across the region.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Strategy, Planning & Leadership

  • Supports Majid Al Futtaim’s business expansion and objectives through professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (e.g., succession planning).
  • Research and lead in the development of Performance Management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments.
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
  • Conduct presentations and training.
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management and PM initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Identifies opportunities for performance improvement through process/system reviews to optimize and create possible solutions through research and analysis.
  • Works in an advisory capacity on recommendations with job roles and responsibilities while conducting a job needs analysis.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of a talent strategy and performance-oriented culture by communicating, teaching, influencing, and supporting the execution of consistent processes and routines around talent assessment, succession planning, recognition, and performance management.
  • Supports organization effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions to the aligned to strategy.
  • Gains an in-depth understanding of the Leisure, Entertainment & Cinema business strategy while building strong and effective relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees to become a trusted and partner and coach.
  • Collaborates with HC functional teams to identify and implement targeted development programs.
