Job Description
- Charterhouse are presently working with an aviation client, whom are in the process of looking to identify a Team Leader of Accounts Payable (AP), to have oversight and management of their regional payables function. About the role This role, shall inherit a small team of Accountants, and it takes ownership for both internal and external payable matters whilst having direct responsibility for staff supervision.
- The role will have control of the AP sub-ledgers whilst also ensuring the General Ledger (GL) reconciliation process is accurately undertaken; to ensure both strong accounting compliance and the provision for operational funding requests. In extension, the role will provide an AP dashboard and metric; to ensure that all payment trends, ageing reports and employee expenses are monitored and reported for MIS purposes.
- As part of an ongoing policy review across finance, this role will also be responsible for the proposal and implementation of processes, designed to develop payment timelines, efficiency of reporting structures and the strengthening of liquidity ratios.
