Job Purpose:

The Plant Manager is the primary focal point with all stakeholders involved in the company’s contract. The objectives of the Plant Manager is to ensure the profitable, safe and satisfactory execution of the company’s contract and ensure the operations is useful for the company for marketing and showcasing purposes to support the overall growth of the company into other business opportunities both in the UAE and elsewhere.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ownership of P&L of the processing plant
• Overall responsibility for managing all resources on site including manpower, equipment and consumables
• Management of the operations teams with the goal of achieving best results from each function group
• Clear, straightforward and timely communication of performance related issues to management with a solution recommendation that achieve decisive positive resulted both short and long term
• Developing operational budgets for management approval
• Adhering to the approved operational budget; maintaining budget integrity and prioritizing profit driven decisions where necessary
• Continuous cost reduction measures & eliminating any cost redundancies
• Maintaining relationships with all slag sales buyers to ensure long term stable off-take
• Achieving the company’s contractual KPI’s
• Enabling top performance from operations team
• Ensuring proper safety measures are always adhered to through the operations of the UAE plant

Job Requirements:

• 10 plus years of Industrial operational experience in an operations role
• Must have worked withindustrial services industrieslike cement, crusher, waste recycling, process plants, etc.
• Key focus areas: Client Management, HSE Standards, and Mechanical Engineering background with strong maintenance experience.
• Excellent experience in managing large teams
• Strong and demonstrable experience in Maintenance, HSE and customer relations
• Experience owning a P&L group
