Job Description

Job Purpose:

Being a significant producing part of the sales team focusing on Financial Institutions MEA delivering agreed sales and revenue targets across the Global Markets along with identifying and cultivating cross sell opportunities within the sectors and geographies prescribed to build long term sustainable relationships aimed at firmly establishing FAB as the regional leader.

GMS FI MEA  main accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Enhancing crossborder execution migration of best practice across all sales team;
  • Driving a result orientated transparent global performance culture;
  • Development of leadership talent for team and FAB as a whole

Creating a dynamic scalable multijurisdictional transparent performance culture always capable of being at the forefront of strategic and tactical initiatives and directives from EXCO.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all GM Sales requirements across the client which are inline with FABs regulatory compliance and best practice standards.
  • Ensure high quality execution and build/maintain strong relationship with GM product Relationship Mangers and the infrastructure/support staff.
  • Strong team player working closely with members of the GM Sales Team and supporting as required.
  • Ensure client / internal / monetary impacting issues are escalated appropriately to line manager within suitable timeframe.
  • Expectation to participate in client events / forums / offsite events as required.
  • Ensure maximum optimization of customer flow activity and cross selling opportunities to produce best in class flow to support the GM business.
  • Coverage & Segment Coverage Segment Coverage to include the following as required by your assigned line manager.
    • Sovereigns Financial Institutions NonBank Financial Institutions.
  • GM Sales Credit or Macro Flow You may be required to work in the capacity as a flow sales as required by your assigned line manager. 
    • FX (G10/EM) Deposits Loans Repos Credit FXO (G10/EM) IRS TRS ECommerce Commodities Equites Other Derivatives Islamic Products others. 
  • Geographical Coverage Geographical coverage can include one country/region and extended to global coverage as required by your assigned line manager
    • Abu Dhabi Dubai London Paris Singapore Cairo Hong Kong Kuala Lumpur other.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • UAE National
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • 510 Years experience working in global markets or treasury department in local or international banking
