Roles and responsibilities
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales for the dubizzle Property Vertical
- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meeting, and indirect methods such as networking, social selling to clients within the assigned territory
- Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales within the territory
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
- Draft and deliver proposals
- Report on sales activity
- Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time period
- Work with the Marketing department to plan and execute generation campaigns
- Consult with sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve company branding and reputation
- Provide feedback to Company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
Requirements
- Sales experience in an online Classifieds or internet company
- Energetic and assertive with a strong presence
- Persuasive with strong communication skills to initiate, negotiate and close business
- Tactful and smart to handle client objections and present solutions and options to close sales
- Articulate and well versed with making presentations and sales pitches to prospective and existing clients
- Positive relationship building skills - cultivates and nurtures customer relations
- Competitive attitude with a hunger to succeed in all situations
- Result orientated with problem solving skills to resolve challenges through creative and flexible options in line with the Company's overall targets
- Good analytical skills to understand clients business needs and provide adequate marketing solutions
- Should possess strong business acumen along with a quick mind to assimilate information from many channels and create strategic alternatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
2. Sales Strategy and Planning
- Developing sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed revenue targets for assigned accounts.
- Identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and expanding the company’s presence and sales footprint.
3. Customer Needs Assessment
- Understanding clients' business challenges, goals, and needs in order to recommend the most appropriate products or services.
- Conducting regular meetings with clients to review account performance, discuss new opportunities, and address any concerns.
4. Negotiation and Closing
- Negotiating contracts and pricing terms with clients while ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Closing sales deals and following through with post-sale activities to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
5. Account Growth and Retention
- Upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients to increase revenue.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction and ensuring that clients’ expectations are met, which helps with long-term account retention.
6. Sales Reporting and Forecasting
- Regularly tracking and reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and account performance.
- Using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to update client information, track sales progress, and forecast future sales.
7. Market and Product Knowledge
- Keeping up-to-date with the company’s products, services, and industry trends to offer informed advice to clients.
- Having a strong understanding of competitors and market dynamics to differentiate the company’s offerings.
8. Client Onboarding
- Assisting new clients with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and positive start to the business relationship.
- Educating clients on the product/service features and helping them understand how to get the most value.
