ROLE SUMMARY
The role of the Commis Chef is to consistently deliver the highest possible level of food & beverage quality and presentation. This individual will work closely with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures to ensure safety of all products served to our guests.
ROLE PROFILE
- Prepares the menu items using the recipes as per brand guidelines.
- Understands skills required to produce menu items.
- Keeps operating equipment and kitchen equipment clean and in good condition.
- Ensures the proper storage and rotation of goods received following FIFO.
- Takes an interest and involvement in the quality checking and knowledge of ingredients.
- Smooth kitchen operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 year experience as Commis Chef.
- Previous hotel/5-star experience/cabin crew experience will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent English language verbal and written.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail while multi-tasking under pressure is essential.
- Flexible working hours to include public holidays.
