Assisting with Food Preparation:
- Helping prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and organizing the kitchen.
- Assisting chefs in preparing dishes under supervision, learning specific culinary techniques.

Working on Various Stations:
- Learning to work at different stations in the kitchen, such as the grill, sauté, pastry, or garde manger (cold station).
- Gaining experience in preparing a variety of dishes, from appetizers to main courses and desserts.

Learning Cooking Techniques:
- Learning essential cooking techniques such as grilling, frying, sautéing, baking, and broiling.
- Observing professional chefs and learning their methods for creating high-quality dishes.

Plating and Presentation:
- Assisting with the presentation and garnishing of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's standards.
- Learning about the importance of food aesthetics in creating appealing, Instagram-worthy dishes.

Maintaining Kitchen Organization:
- Ensuring that workstations are clean and organized.
- Following proper food safety and hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and sanitized environment.

Supporting with Inventory Management:
- Assisting in managing kitchen inventory, including checking stock levels, helping with ordering supplies, and storing ingredients correctly.
- Learning about portion control and food cost management.

Assisting with Cleaning:
- Keeping the kitchen clean by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring that kitchen surfaces are sanitized and free from any contaminants.

Shadowing Experienced Chefs:
- Observing chefs and other kitchen staff to learn best practices, cooking techniques, and restaurant-specific workflows.
- Receiving mentorship and feedback from senior chefs on how to improve skills.
Essential Skills for Kitchen Internship

Basic Culinary Knowledge:
- A foundational understanding of cooking methods, kitchen terminology, and basic food preparation is helpful.
- Some internships may require a background in culinary education, but many are open to enthusiastic beginners.

Desired candidate profile
We are currently looking for passionate and dynamic interns who are open to development opportunities and exploration of the hospitality industry from a practical perspective.

You should be studying in a reputed Hotel Management School or University and have a strong passion for the Hospitality industry.
