Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are currently looking for dynamic, and self motivated Recreation professionals who want to move their careers forward.

As a Kids Club Attendant you are responsible to ensure that all Kids Club responsibilities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner and your role will include key responsibilities such as-

  • Liaise with Assistant Recreation Manager / Recreation Supervisor to create a safe environment for all children attending the kids club / crèche
  • Ensure all parents fill in the registration form for their children correctly, containing the history of the child
  • Create an inventory for all toys / equipment at the club / crèche
  • Ensure all equipments are clean and properly maintained
  • Inform Assistant Recreation Manager / Recreation Supervisor for any need of additional toys or replacement of toys
  • Ensure to follow daily, weekly and monthly activity schedules as instructed by the Recreation Supervisor
  • Ensure all club’s rules and regulations are enforced at all times
  • Maintain club / crèche clean and tidy at all times
  • Be fully aware of club’s facilities, timings, promotions and prices

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally have a diploma or a vocational training in a kindergarten / children care related field with previous similar work experiences. A true passion for children and a creative, but caring mind are essentials. Good command of English and good interpersonal abilities are additional required.

Knowledge & Competencies

The ideal candidate will be pleasant, mature and patient with good guest service skills and the ability to handle stress. You are a positive, smiley individual with an outgoing and approachable character, who works well under pressure in a fast paced environment and be a great team player, who enjoys working with a multi-cultural team and guests alike, while possessing following additional competencies-

    • Monitor children’s activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
    • Enforce rules and maintain discipline in a fun and positive manner.
  2. Activity Planning:
    • Organize and lead games, crafts, storytelling sessions, and other creative activities.
    • Design age-appropriate programs that cater to varying interests and abilities.
  3. Engagement:
    • Interact with children to keep them entertained and engaged.
    • Encourage participation and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
  4. Parental Communication:
    • Provide updates to parents about their child’s activities and behavior.
    • Address any concerns or special requests from parents.
  5. Safety and Hygiene:

    • Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operation and coverage.
