Roles and responsibilities

A Relationship Manager is responsible for maintaining and fostering strong relationships with clients, customers, or partners to ensure long-term business success and customer satisfaction. This role often involves understanding clients’ needs, providing tailored solutions, and managing communication to strengthen the business relationship. Below are the key skills and attributes required for a Relationship Manager:

Communication Skills

  • Active listening: Ability to listen attentively to clients’ concerns, feedback, and needs to understand their objectives and challenges.
  • Clear and persuasive communication: Ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively, both in writing and verbally, ensuring clients fully understand the solutions being offered.
  • Presentation skills: Effectively present solutions, updates, or reports to clients, showcasing how services/products can benefit them.
  • Negotiation skills: Expertise in negotiating agreements, contracts, or pricing in a manner that is mutually beneficial for both the client and the company.

Client Relationship Building

  • Building trust: Establish and maintain trust with clients by delivering consistent, high-quality service and demonstrating reliability.
  • Personalized service: Tailor services and solutions to meet individual client needs, enhancing the overall client experience and satisfaction.
  • Proactive engagement: Regularly check in with clients, anticipate their needs, and suggest solutions before problems arise.
  • Conflict resolution: Address any issues or complaints that arise, offering solutions in a professional and timely manner to preserve the relationship.
  • Client retention: Focus on maintaining long-term relationships with clients by consistently meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Sales and Business Development

  • Sales acumen: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services and products, increasing revenue while addressing client needs.
  • Lead generation: Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, or outreach to potential clients.
  • Proposal development: Develop customized proposals or presentations to address client needs and drive business growth.
  • Market knowledge: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and market conditions to offer relevant solutions to clients.
  • KPI management: Track and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, client acquisition, or retention.

Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

  • Solution-oriented mindset: Approach challenges with the goal of finding solutions that benefit both the client and the company.
  • Decision-making: Make informed decisions quickly, balancing client needs with business goals and available resources.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks to the relationship or business and proactively address them to mitigate negative impacts.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Client support: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Quality assurance: Ensure that services or products provided meet the highest standards and align with client expectations.
  • Customer feedback management: Collect and analyze client feedback to continuously improve services, identify trends, and implement improvements.

Desired candidate profile

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for working in a target driven sales environment to maximize the opportunity of direct sales.

Source potential investors and establish/maintain a good work relationship.

Attend to inquiries (of the following nature: sale, re-sale, property valuation, property services, Dubai Property Tour…etc) professionally to maintain a high standard of customer service and generate extra income for the company.

Formulate properties tailored to the needs of the clients.

Attend Property events (such as exhibitions, property launching, presentations, seminars…etc)

Requirements:

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge and a minimum 1+ year solid experience in the UAE Property Sector (Real estate developer/ brokerage firm).

Having good network / database of investors/ Brokers/Agents.

Added advantages would be for RERA / Real Estate Board exam certified and / or UAE driving license along with a car.

Well presentable and well groomed.
