Position: Innovation and Automation Intern

Position Overview:
As an Innovation and Automation Intern at Stantec you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced professionals and contribute to cuttingedge projects that are shaping the future of our industry. You will be a part of our dynamic and collaborative team where your ideas and creativity will be valued and encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams to identify areas for automation and process improvement
Research and analyze emerging technologies and their potential applications in our projects
Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency
Assist in the design and development of innovative solutions for our clients
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of automation systems to ensure functionality and accuracy
Document and communicate project progress and results to team members and stakeholders
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement and innovation
Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in automation and technology
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field
Academically strong with a minimum CGPA as shown below:
3.0 on a scale of 4.0 or
7.5 on a scale of 10
Strong interest in innovation automation and emerging technologies
Experience with programming languages such as Python Java CC sharp VB (more than one coding language preferred)
Participation in coding competitions / hackathons is an advantage
Developing apps / plug ins / web tools is an advantage
Prior use of AutoCAD or any other Autodesk application is an advantage
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Selfmotivated and able to work independently
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment
