Black & Grey HR is excited to partner with a prominent food manufacturing company in their search for an experienced HSE Team Leader. Our client a leader in the industry is looking for a proactive professional to develop implement and oversee Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies. This role is pivotal in promoting a strong safety culture managing risks effectively and ensuring strict compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive HSE legal compliance register.
Lead workplace safety assessments and proactive hazard mitigation strategies.
Foster employee engagement through impactful HSE initiatives and awareness programs.
Develop and implement emergency procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain and upgrade fire and safety equipment ensuring alignment with technological advancements.
Oversee waste management systems to minimize environmental impact.
Design and deliver effective HSE training sessions for staff at all levels.
Investigate incidents thoroughly ensuring corrective actions are executed and lessons learned are communicated.
Maintain detailed records for audits inspections incidents and drills.
Conduct HSE compliance audits and comprehensive risk assessments.
Lead evaluate and enhance emergency mock drills for improved readiness.
Requirements
Experience: 34 years in an HSE supervisory role within industrial construction or manufacturing sectors.
Education: Bachelor s degree in a related field.
Certifications: NEBOSH IGC or equivalent ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Basic First Aid and Fire Safety certification.
