Roles and responsibilities
We are looking for a Talent Development Lead to work ink in conjunction with the Talent Development Manager and colleagues to deliver impactful learning initiatives aligned to business needs.
The job scope includes:
- Interact regularly with all Miral colleagues (including park walks and special events), with specific focus on allocated stakeholder groups
- Work closely with the HR Business Partners and business leaders to understand specific department/Park requirements
- Align learning initiatives across Miral to business needs
- Deliver the full learning cycle, including needs analysis, design and delivery of blending learning solutions and evaluation
- Design online learning solutions using a variety of tools such as Articulate & VYond; launch these learning modules on platforms such as Viva Engage, Loop, LMS & Teams
- Support broader HR initiatives by working closely with the rest of the HR team
- Research new and innovative learning tools and ideas and share with the team
- Support Miral’s Emiratization programme, as required
- Support the business with internships, cross-training and Up-skilling
- Assist with document control, training data and reporting as required
- Training Needs Analysis:
- Conduct assessments to identify the training and development needs across various departments
- Collaborate with managers and employees to determine specific learning objectives and gaps
- Program Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and update training programs, including e-learning modules, workshops, and seminars
- Create engaging and effective training materials such as presentations, manuals, and online content
- Customize training solutions to meet the specific needs of different departments or job roles
- Training Delivery / Facilitation:
- Facilitate training sessions in person or virtually, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience
- Coordinate with external trainers or subject matter experts when necessary
- Provide coaching and support to employees as they apply new skills and knowledge
- Evaluation and Reporting:
- Develop and implement evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs
- Analyze training data and feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and ROI to management
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in learning and development
- Recommend and implement new training technologies and methodologies to enhance learning experiences
- Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting ongoing professional development opportunities
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with HR, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational goals
- Build strong relationships with external training providers and manage contracts and budgets related to training services
Desired candidate profile

- Ensure all training programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, employee participation, and certifications
- Manage the learning management system (LMS) and ensure all training content is up to date
To be considered for the role, you will need to have:
- Diploma or Degree in any field
- Train the Trainer Certification (ATD / ISTD) and or Certificate in facilitation (ATD) or coaching (ICF)
- 3 years minimum in Learning and Development with a breadth of experience across design and delivery (Facilitation / Training experience)
- Demonstrable L&D experience within the Hospitality, Retail or Theme Park industries
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Working knowledge of online learning platforms
- Working knowledge of movie making; editing
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
