Job Title: Estimation Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial feasibility, and providing insights for project planning and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, and overhead for projects.
- Analysis: Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Market Research: Conduct research on material costs, labor rates, and market trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
- Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation and submission of bid proposals, including breakdowns of costs and resource allocation.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in projects and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on estimates, highlighting assumptions and methodologies used.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in estimation processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimation Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
