Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Styling Manager specializing in Kids and Baby Wear and non-apparel products. The Styling Manager will be responsible for curating and executing visually captivating creative content for digital channel of Landmark Group’s Kids and baby business. The candidate would be collaborating with cross-functional teams and staying current with design trends. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for aesthetics, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for kids and baby functional products and fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of stylists, provide guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
Content Strategy:
- Develop and execute the overall visual content strategy (Digital + Retail) for the Kids and Baby Wear and products, aligning with the brand's aesthetic, vision and target audience.
- Research and interpret design trends to create fresh and appealing interior concepts.
- Create a robust brand guideline keeping in mind all platforms.
E-commerce Image Development
- Develop guideline for ecommerce visual content.
- Ensure that product images/videos shot are following the standard.
- Train the team to ensure consistent deliverables.
- Closely monitor and manage all the operational requirements to deliver global standard e-commerce content.
- Oversee the shooting of Kids and Baby Wear and non apparel products, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Ensure the received to go-live turnaround time is maintained as per the SLA.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the brand marketing, buying, visual merchandising teams to ensure new content aligns with product launches, marketing campaigns and the brand vision.
- Work with photographers and videographers to capture compelling visual content for promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to ensure the visuals are being produced in line with how it is meant to be used on digital and OOH platforms.
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate the monthly and annual styling budget efficiently, making informed decisions to achieve impactful designs within cost constraints.
- Work with the finance teams for releasing payment to the vendors and understanding budget spent monthly.
Client Engagement:
- Interface with clients to understand their preferences, needs, and design goals, ensuring personalized and tailored styling solutions.
Market Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging design concepts to inform and elevate the brand's styling approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, Visual Arts, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in Kids and Baby Wear and Infant non apparel, with a strong emphasis on home décor.
- Digital experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing creative teams.
- Proficiency in design software is a plus (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD).
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Portfolio showcasing past projects specializing in Kids and Baby.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing design trends and business requirements.
