Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE.Our client is seeking to hire an IT Support Specialist who will independently deliver complex technical support to AU staff and students. This role involves providing onsite assistance as needed and playing a vital part in maintaining and enhancing knowledge standards.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve software issues on AU computer systems including repairs maintenance and technical assistance for various PCbased computers and peripherals.
Provide troubleshooting and support to address system communication failures and conflicts.
Offer general and indepth guidance on diverse software applications and operating systems as requested by users.
Maintain a high standard of customer service while addressing inquiries and concerns.
Perform routine hardware and software maintenance tasks as assigned and assist in system utilization.
Manage support requests from initiation to completion or escalate to senior technical support when necessary.
Restore and configure multiple PCs using image backup solutions created by senior technical staff.
Document individual cases thoroughly using help desk software and ensure followup.
Provide technical support for users PCs and devices which may involve access to critical or confidential data.
Offer technical assistance for IT equipment during events seminars workshops and video conferences.
Resolve technical issues assigned through the help desk efficiently.
Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree in a computerrelated field.
Min 13 years of experience in technical or software support.
Proficiency in information systems.
Familiarity with the organization s computing systems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Excellent listening skills and a patient demeanor.
Experience in customer service and relationship management.
