Receives work assignment and supplies from Supervisor, signs for the key in key-log (received and returned) and is responsible for the key in his/her possession
Cleans the lobby, dust/mops floors, dusts furniture, wipes tables, polishes brass, clean ashtrays, disposes garbage and cleans the heart-of-house areas as per the standards set.
Spots and vacuums carpet in restaurant and public areas as per scheduled time
Dusts walls, counters, telephones and fixtures
Cleans guest lifts, brass, mirrors, walls and carpets periodically.
Makes sure the storeroom is clean and tidy
Makes sure cleaning equipment is clean, well maintain and properly stored
Advises Supervisor of any repairs or maintenance work required.
Reports all broken or out-of-order items to Supervisor immediately.
Deposits all Lost and Found articles in Housekeeping office immediately.
When assigned, services public toilets.
Adheres to safety regulations.
Regularly checks ashtrays, guest lifts, and public washrooms.
Empties waste bin in all assigned areas.
To demonstrate good work etiquette and strict adherence to set standards.
To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
