What you will be doing:
- Prepares, arranges, and serves all food according to the standard set by the Executive Chef.
- Ensure freshness and suitability of products used by the section and that they are stored properly.
- Works in cooperation with other sections.
- Reports any equipment on the section requiring repairs and maintenance.
- Controls costs by minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portion control.
- Handles machines, furniture, equipment and utensils that working areas are kept clean at all times.
- Attends training classes, associates meetings, and makes constructive suggestions for improvements.
- Perform other special tasks as maybe assigned from time to time.
, Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary and a minimum of at least one year in the same role is an advantage
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
