Job Description
- Provide consultation on process design alternatives and supports system validation processes; provide guidelines for all levels of implementation and system upgrade testing!
- Lead the coordination of unit, system, integration and history upload testing events with all project teams, track testing completion and escalate issues to the project manager as needed.
- Lead the cross-team and vendor coordination for testing and scheduling upgrades.
- Identify packages, upgrades and installations needed to maintain the clinical applications or to resolve issues with the software.
- Coordinate with clinical teams to support processes to ensure data integrity within and across applications.
- Actively participate in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives to ensure integration within and across applications.
- Lead and monitor any change requests with regards to the Cerner applications
- Oversee the creation of training materials for the facility for new design or design changes.
- Attend all vendor and hospital trainings.
- Support other team members in day-to-day activities; support the IT leadership in developing the process and procedures; train co-workers and support team on the system functionalities and workflows as assigned.
- Facilitate development of downtime procedures and updates policies accordingly
- Perform all other duties and participates in other projects as assigned or directed by IT leadership.
- Develop requirements and deliver projects in a direct working relationship with clinicians, end-users and stakeholders.
