Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle scheduling, dispatch, and maintenance.
- Ensure all vehicles are compliant with UAE regulations regarding registration, licensing, and road worthiness.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize vehicle lifespan.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with service providers for fuel, maintenance, repairs, and vehicle cleaning.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Oversee the activities of dispatchers and ensure efficient allocation of service vehicles to customer requests.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle history, repairs, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including dispatchers, mechanics, and customer service representatives.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient fleet operations and driver safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate and report on incidents involving vehicles.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices in fleet management.
