The InterContinental Hotels Group properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental the superior upscale Crowne Plaza the lavish longstay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant midscale Holiday Inn. In addition to over 1000 bedrooms the four properties boast a selection of high quality restaurants and bars an impressive 3800 square meter Event Centre across two levels the 5000 square meters Festival Arena by InterContinental the luxurious Spa InterContinental stateoftheart gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your daytoday

• Drive Total Revenue (short & longterm Room C&B F&B Golf) and sell to new existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.
• Gain depth knowledge about the business model concept market dynamics and trends exhibitions and geographic areas of the client portfolios that is managed.
• Develop relationships across all business units beyond the local market towards GCC and Levant Region based offices and possibly in the Americas Europe as well as APAC within the clients organization.
• To utilize IHG sales tools in an appropriate manner to ease work processes and make the same more efficient and transparent IBP Delphi IRFP IHG Merlin IHG Sales Source SSP and IHG Business Club.
• Consistently communicate within to share market intelligence provide feedback and ensure customer awareness with the Hotels and to ensure planning and coordination of sales.

What we need from you

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the service industry and Sales & Marketing environment.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Organized and demonstrated good teamwork.
• Fluency in English.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft applications Opera Delphi).
• Proactive approach.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
