Head of Issuing- Strategy Partnerships

You Have

15+ years of payments experience in a fast moving technology or financial services company

5+ years leadership experience including building out and cultivating high performing teams in a scale environment

Deep understanding of the payment industry, including displayed experience and leadership in issuing

Experience leading teams which use quantitative data to develop and evolve operational processes, medium term initiatives and long-term strategy

Strong relationship building skills with executives and technical teams & the ability to develop consensus and drive stakeholders to a decision

Strong ability to build & leverage cross functional relationships internally and externally

Extensive experience with commercial contracts and negotiations

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Zone A: USD $263,600 - USD $395,400

Zone B: USD $263,600 - USD $395,400

Zone C: USD $263,600 - USD $395,400

Zone D: USD $263,600 - USD $395,400
