Land Surveyor

• Conduct topographic boundary and construction surveys to determine land elevations boundaries and features using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
  
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records including field notes sketches and survey data to support project planning and decisionmaking.
  
• Assist in the preparation of survey reports maps and drawings documenting survey results and presenting findings to project stakeholders as needed.
  
• Collaborate with project managers engineers architects and other construction professionals to provide surveying support and ensure project objectives are met.
  
• Establish and maintain survey control points and benchmarks to facilitate accurate measurements and ensure consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications survey data and quality standards.
  
• Conduct asbuilt surveys to document the location and dimensions of completed structures utilities and infrastructure for recordkeeping and future reference.
  
• Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others on the construction site.
  
• Keep abreast of industry developments advancements in surveying technology and changes in regulations to continuously improve surveying processes and procedures.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Surveying Geomatics Civil Engineering or related field.
  
• Minimum of 35 years of experience working as a Land Surveyor in the construction industry preferably in Dubai or the Middle East region.
  
• Proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as total stations GPS equipment and digital levels as well as surveying software for data processing and analysis.
  
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles techniques and methodologies including topographic surveying boundary surveying and construction layout.
  
• Familiarity with local regulations codes and standards related to land surveying and construction activities in Dubai.
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting surveys and recording data.
  
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification or licensure as a Land Surveyor.
  
• Experience using advanced surveying techniques such as 3D laser scanning and drone surveying.
  
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) and its application in construction surveying.
