We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic EVS Director to lead our Environmental Services Department. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a passion for healthcare, and a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of hospital environmental services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies that ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department, ensuring all areas of the hospital are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental services and infection control.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of environmental services with other hospital operations.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
• Manage the department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of environmental services operations and implement improvements as needed.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all concerns and complaints are promptly addressed and resolved.
• Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in the field of environmental services and incorporate best practices into department operations.
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a director-level role in an Environmental Services Department within a healthcare setting.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and improving environmental services operations in a hospital setting.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to environmental services and infection control.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies and solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the management of environmental services operations.
