Job Description
Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue chartering opportunities to maximize vessel utilization and revenue.
• Negotiate and manage charter contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and changes in freight rates to optimize chartering operations.
• Coordinate vessel schedules to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to streamline chartering processes.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs and safety requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders in the shipping industry.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities.
