Group Strategy Director - Leading Media Agency

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in initial client consultations.

Collaborate across departments within the agency to ensure the effective implementation of client and agency strategies.

Consult with account and channel teams to determine information needs.

Take the lead in developing intelligence gathering and insight processes focused on shoppers to inform program strategies.

Coordinate primary and secondary research assistance.

Facilitate brainstorming sessions aimed at generating innovative ideas.

Analyze data to draw out strategic implications and inspire creativity.

Guide the creative briefing process and develop compelling creative briefs.

Ensure that tactical plans align with client objectives and strategies.

Keep the team informed with ongoing competitive assessments and industry updates relevant to shopper and consumer demographics.

Provide overviews of consumer and shopper behavior analyze general market trends and assess competitive and category behaviors.

Execute projects to a high standard.

Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

At least 15 years of experience (with a minimum of 8 in an agency setting) in strategy and planning particularly in marketing for retailers across FMCG/CPG categories.

Engaging personality capable of influencing diverse audiences.

Passionate about understanding human behavior and improving clients businesses.

Strong analytical and creative abilities.

Proven client engagement skills with a serviceoriented approach.

Demonstrated leadership and organizational prowess.

Excellent verbal written presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

Able to handle multiple clients and projects concurrently.

Experience in leading managing and developing other planners.

Deadlinedriven with effective prioritization skills.

Comfortable working in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint Excel Word) and Google Suite (Mail Docs Drive).

Willingness to travel as needed.
