Warehouse Operations Manager

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Plan and coordinate warehouse layout and storage capacity to maximize space utilization and minimize inventory handling costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, and promote a culture of safety among warehouse staff.
• Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to optimize performance and foster a positive work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies.
• Prepare and manage warehouse budgets, forecasts, and expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in warehouse management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or operations management, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
