Job Description

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal effectively and external customers both in English and Native Japanese languages
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices


    Mandatory / Preferred Skills: General Skills


  • Knowledge of Production process for Japan manufacturing domain.
  • Work with customer business teams and project teams effectively; Conduct requirement-gathering workshops, map these into SAP MNP processes and identify gaps and solution to these gaps.
  • Should be able to understand the processes adopted for custom developments, unit testing, function testing, integration testing,
    Go-live and support phases
  • Able to provide proactive SAP solutions to customers with multiple options.
  • Able to handle the requirements of Business users and provide on-time support to them.
  • Able to lead SAP MNP rollout testing project and provide production support for the plants, which went Go-Live.
  • Express difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in-written.
  • Work effectively and independently on assigned projects & train users.
  • Establish and maintain effective and cooperative relationships with cross functional team.
  • Able to actively lead business reform drive for the customer.
  • Able to guide and lead a team of consultants.

    Min 2 End to end Implementation experience including migration and cut over activity.

  • Working experience of S/4 HANA and Fiori Apps.
  • Experience in the solution design


Mandatory / Preferred Skills: Technical Skills

  • Plan to Produce, Assemble to Order, Make to Order
  • Production planning, Production planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS),
  • PPDS Heuristics and Capacity leveling
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Material staging and Shop floor
  • Sub-contracting procurement process with Japan specific requirement
  • Experience in S/4 HANA Kanban process
  • Batch Management, Handling Unit Management
  • Experience in Interfaces to SAP and other Planning systems
  • Knowledge in Cross module integration to Procurement, Sales, EWM and FICO
  • Preferred certification: SAP: S/4 HANA Manufacturing certification.


Others:

  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions to
    fulfill customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business requirements and provide appropriate system solutions identify, interpret, validate, and
    document customer requirements.
  • Work on effort estimation and rough cost with timeline if we implement SAP MNP
  • Proactively work on Fit Gap Analysis and propose suitable SAP process with system enhancements need for the business requirements.
  • Lead the team actively on both the topics of functional and technical role.
  • Experience in Interfaces to SAP systems and Non-SAP Systems.
