Proposal Manager

JOB DUTIES: Lead the Sulzer proposal process and communicate to all relevant stakeholders.

Ensure proposals are performed in accordance with Sulzer design guides, standards, and tools. I

nitiate the proposal kick-off meetings at the beginning of the proposal process to ensure scope and requirements of ITB is well understood by the team, finalized sales strategy to win, with deadlines. Ensure no work is done without a firm design basis and sales strategy. Screen customer inquiries and requests for quotation to ensure they are in line with Sulzer capabilities and contain all information required to submit a quotation. Liaise with sales / customers to obtain any missing information.

Lead the efforts to qualify the inquiry technically by coordinating with relevant engineering discipline, project management, and / or overseas offices as required. Provide feedback to Sales.

Ensure process concept approval is established, followed by design of process / equipment such as distillation column, reboiler, condensers, etc.,

and stagewise approval taken to close the process / equipment design. Ensure proposals are prepared with a cost workbook that includes internal and external costs.
