Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HR and Talent Acquisition Manager with 10 years of experience to lead our human resources department focusing on recruiting top talent in the shipping/commodity trading industry and fostering a vibrant company culture.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective hiring strategies that align with our business goals especially within the shipping and commodity trading sectors across various geographies.
- Manage the complete recruitment process from candidate sourcing to selection.
- Optimize and standardise internal company policies and employee management systems.
- Create and maintain a positive work environment emphasising teamwork and open communication.

- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Lead initiatives for employee development including training and career growth opportunities.

- Oversee employee benefits programs ensuring they are competitive and meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
- Conduct performance management and provide feedback to employees and management.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive personnel records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field. Master s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager ideally in the shipping chartering or maritime industry.
- Strong understanding of the shipping industry and its operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively across different levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in conflict resolution disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Certification in HR (e.g. PHR SPHR SHRMCP SHRMSCP) is a plus.
