Job Description

  • Be the regional immigration expert in laws and compliance for local mobility requirements
  • Responsible for building and updating the knowledge base and training the team
  • Escalation management on complex cases by driving the solution and guiding the team towards defined business outcomes as well as client satisfaction
  • Liaise with government officials as needed as well as maintain a forward-looking solutions mindset and approach
  • Preparing and representing Deel in both external and internal audits and similar inquiries to provide information in a helpful and positive manner
  • Manage vendor relationships on a routine basis and ensure that outside vendors are subject matter experts and excellent at customer service

People Management

  • Performance Management: Implement, execute, and iterate on highly effective meeting and reporting cadences to manage team’s performance on a day-to-day basis based on objectives and key results
  • Development & Growth: Build an individualized growth and development plan for each team member in accordance with business needs. Also, Monitor individual performance on a daily basis with a core set of KPIs to motive, encourage, and course-correct team’s performance
  • Quality Control: Constantly measure the service-level quality and if they are in accordance with the business outcomes defined by the leadership
  • Balancing of team workload and coverage of leaves: knowledge and clear reporting on individual and team-wide workloads to ensure optimal output from every team member. Identify and solve issues around leave coverage, burnout, inefficiencies, underperformance, and under-utilised skills in a proactive manner.
