About the Villa

The villa is located in Villefranche, and is used by the owners and their guests, mostly during the summer season. The Villa is used to work under very high standard and responds to high demand.
All the positions are LIVE OUT.

The project

We are looking for one Ma tre d'H tel ready to start working from the beginning of April 2023, until the end of October 2023.

You will be in charge of:

• Serving the meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner for all guests
• Setting up the table before meals and Clearing the tables after meals
• Serving the drinks - alcoholic or non-alcoholic to the respective guests
• Assisting the Chef inside the Chalet with service and helping him organize all the plates

The team is very flexible and multi-tasking, hence we need open-minded candidates who can also take care of Housekeeping and Laundry as needed.

The Housekeeping involves ensuring all the bedrooms and bathrooms are in a perfect state. That the main areas as corridors, living rooms are always dusted, tidy and well organized in accordance to the owner's habits.

The laundry involves washing, stain removal, drying and ironing of linens inside the house, or taking expensive fabrics to drycleaners as requested.

Desired profile

For this position, you MUST have :

• Experience in VIP Villas or Chalets as a Butler/Maitre d'Hotel
• Experience as a server in high-end restaurants
• Knowledge of Wines and Spirits, and basic knowledge of cuisine
• Interior/Table decoration and Flower arrangement skills are a plus.
• Decent experience in Housekeeping and Laundry duties
• You speak fluent English, French is a plus.
• You must be very autonomous and able to report and respect your hierarchy in the same time.
• We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and likes to work in private villas.
• You are very proactive and focused, and have an impeccable sense of detail. This is essential to the role.
• You are comfortable with safety and hygiene processes
• You are positive and flexible, able to react under demand and pressure.
• You are very discreet, and able to stay positive through tough situations.
• You are always on time and well-presented at all times, which is essential.
• You have a real sense of human relations and communication comes with an ease to you.
• You MUST have a car and a driving licence as you can not access the Villa easily, public transport option can not be considered.
• Clear Criminal Record required.

Salary : 2500 euros net per month

Contract: French CDD contract

Weekends off when the owners are not around and flexibility is required when they are in the Villa, you will have one day off during the week.
