Work with internal process owners and suppliers to develop manufacturing processes, build instructions, and oversee supplier production runs. Must understand Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and its purpose in an electronic system's product lifecycle.
Serve as configuration manager of all technical data packages that reside onsite.
Be familiar with the AS9100 standard and its purpose in an electronic system's product lifecycle.
Support all aspects of electronic and mechanical assembly, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT), through-hole assembly, convection reflow, wave solder, hardware installation, cleaning, conformal coating, potting and box build.
Perform process audits to ensure that Leidos and Suppliers' QMS is maintained and process improvements are sustained
Support the supply chain through analysis of alternate electrical components and commodity management. Understanding of component obsolescence standards, processes, and mitigation.
Basic Qualifications
Must have an active Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO9001:2015.
Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship and soldering standards.
The ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and quickly resolve quality problems with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity.
Solid organizational skills, ability to work and interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Must have product electronic manufacturing experience. Understanding of printed circuit board, circuit card assembly, box build manufacturing processes.
Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated.
