Job description:
- Plan, implement and manage public relations programmes and strategies
- Plan within budget for PR events, programmes and initiatives
- Draft press releases and oversee approvals process and distribution
- Design and review online content in media announcements and media kits
- Monitor corporate image to ensure compliance with company brand values
- Check and manage content produced for website and social media channels
- Implement PR policies and procedures
- Monitor and measure KPIs for PR department
- Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign using appropriate digital tools
- Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with in-house PR representatives as a key point of contact
- Lead in producing content for events and product launches
- Help manage media enquiries
- Develop and implement crisis communications advice and media strategy, as needed
Requirements and qualifications:
- Previous working experience in public relations, especially in lifestyle, luxury, tech
- A proven track record of successful PR campaigns
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- An in-depth knowledge of the media landscape throughout the MENA region
- BSc/BA in PR, communications, journalism or similar relevant field
- Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
- Creativity, sensitivity, empathy, energy, vision, and commitment
- An open, can-do attitude: willingness to work long hours including weekends
