EARON Life sciences recruitment is looking for a Business Development Manager for an international Full-Service CRO.
Our Client, a leading provider of high-quality pharmacology services, is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for its U.S. headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
The Business Development Manager represents and promotes the company to establish new long-term business collaborations by meeting potential customers, sharing the company s platform and capabilities and building relationships for collaborations with the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement account plans for your client base, focusing on new client acquisition, sales and revenue growth.
- Achievement of new business, renewal business, revenue and profitability targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and in-depth knowledge of their organization and needs with frequent contact.
- Assist in arranging and hosting prospective client visits at the company sites.
- Participate in conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
- Report to the Director of Business Development in France and collaborate with the international Business Development team.
- Manage sales activities, including sales planning, visits, reports and results; Maintain correspondence and information in the CRM database
Requirements
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Must be reliable, highly motivated, well-organized, results-oriented, and customer-focused; independent and self-starting, proactively chasing leads and opportunities while working with the team to bring the best of the company to a customer.
- Motivated to grow the business (Sales hunter)
- Can build and manage multiple leads simultaneously, able to prioritize
- Can influence and motivate internal stockholders to address client s feedback on time
- Strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills; excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
- Previous experience (3+) in business development/sales within a scientific/medical environment/CRO would be a plus.
- Good understanding of the Drug Development Process or ready to learn quickly
- Like to work in a multicultural environment
