In this role, you will:
- Identify Potential Candidates
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify critical positions and examine applicant information (including resumes and social media sites) to determine which candidates meet or exceed the position s requirements.
- Identifying sourcing strategies for vacant positions
- Utilising recruitment technology to proactively search
- Conduct Screening Interviews
- Meet job candidates to conduct screening interviews.
- Make recommendations to the hiring manager for further interviews.
- Create Job Postings
- Help craft and post job listings on job recruitment boards and other websites to attract skilled applicants.
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify the role s key duties and core competencies along with any educational or certification requirements before posting the job and opening it to applicants.
- Develop talent pool and in-house recruitment portal
- Develop talent pool networks
- Improve and utilise in-house recruitment portal
- Establish and enhance Employee Referral Program
- Develop Retention Strategies
- Maintain quality talent by developing and enacting organization-wide retention strategies.
- Develop strategies or make recommendations to reduce employee turnover and enhance employee quality of life.
- Support HR Administration
- Providing HR administration support to the HR Director including sending out new starter and leaver notifications, contracts, tracking completion of on-line training and forms
- Finalise, document & implement an effective on-boarding program for new staff
- Ensure each new staff member is effectively onboarded
- Assist off-board process
Requirements
- 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
- Strong computer and technical skills
- Skilled networker, ability to build professional relationships and identify opportunities to connect individuals in their networks with opportunities
- Experience building and maintaining talent pipelines
- Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
- Mastery in search skills
- Excellent team coordination skills
- Negotiation skills that are to be admired
- Analytical thinking
- An understanding of HR practices, but its not a deal-breaker
- Strong written and verbal communicator
