• Review all reservations, assign room blockings• Promote all hotel services, offers and facilitiesand their operating hours.
• Ensure thatrepeat guests are pre-registered, when necessary.
• Manage the submission of all local governmentrequirements/information concerning hotel guests.
• Constantly check reservations to ensure roomavailability and special blockings are handled correctly.
• Check all transactions performed by Front Deskcolleagues during shift and countersign on designated space in theregistration card signifying approval.
•Maintain an accurate filing system.
• Performregistration process by obtaining data from guest and by observingthe established guidelines.
• Perform daily“bucket check report” against guest folioensuring that charges are accurately posted and support receiptsare properly filed/attached.
• Promotes andfollows a safe work environment.
• Update andmaintain guest history/profile of all guests.
• Overlook and drive ALL loyalty and guest recognitionprograms.
• Ensure that all rooms which aredue to check-out are checked and the daily housekeeping discrepancyreports are resolved.
• Promotes and leads aservice driven, results driven work environment.
• Liaise with Front Desk colleagues on all outstandingbills and ensure full payment of departing guests.
• Manage the strict control of room keys.
• Ensure that the hotel credit policies are adhered to atall times.
• Ensure that team members andone’s cash report is balanced and closed at the end ofthe shift with remittance envelop dropped in the cash vault.
• Follows departmental SOP‟s (Standard OperatingProcedures) including all safety policies
