Assist with installation configuration setup and training of GE Vernovas APM solutions.
Consult with GEs clients on implementing Mechanical Integrity initiatives using industry-proven methodologies and in developing effective inspection
strategies.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist clients in setting the vision direction and strategies for their Mechanical Integrity program.
- Satisfy customers maintenance and inspection planning requirements by applying practical knowledge of how to implement Inspection Plans Maintenance Items and Task Lists.
- Provide effective facilitation for all areas of Mechanical Integrity and APM Health program implementation.
- Assist in implementation and training of GE Vernovas APM software solution.
- Develop technical and functional specifications for implementing the GE Vernova Mechanical Integrity APM solution in accordance with customer requirements.
- Conduct classroom and workshop training of the GE Vernovas APM Mechanical Integrity software solution.
- Work directly with customers to help them leverage the latest software technology data science machine learning and industry best practices to transform their industrial processes.
- Responsible for the successful implementation of APM Classic work processes and products in the customer sites.
- Train the client on the APM Integrity and APM Health work process software implementation of the work process and the application of the work process.
- Work to develop relationships with client team members and leverage these relationships to help the client achieve success.
- Drive change orders and account expansion by working with the project and commercial and presales teams
- Help commercial team with scoping at the ITO stage to balance customer needs and GE Vernova solution capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years experience in facilitating Mechanical Integrity inspection and RBI implementation projects in conjunction with client Subject Matter Experts.
- A strong background of corrosion engineering and familiarity with corrosion mechanisms with strong knowledge in API 571/NACE codes
- Minimum of 10 years fixed equipment engineering and plant maintenance experience in at least one of the petroleum petrochemical utilities or other manufacturing industries.
- Must be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of Risk Based Inspection methodology (API 580/581)
- Certified in API& 653.
- Experience with production processes in the refining petrochemical chemical and process industries and is confident to venture into other processes which candidate does not necessarily have direct experience.
- Good understanding of the American Petrochemical Institute and other industry Inspection Codes and regional jurisdictional codes. Preferably some knowledge of other international inspection and compliance codes/jurisdictional codes
- Inspection Planning development and project management experience
- Experience in developing and conducting training in software systems
- Experience in conducting workshops on RBI implementation with internal/external clients
- Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
- Mechanical Integrity / APM Foundation software experience with GE APM / Meridium
- This role requires travelling globally you will be required to travel approximately 50%.
