JOB DESCRIPTION
MaintenanceMillwrightSUMMARY:We have a full time opening for a Maintenance Mechanic in our busy manufacturing facility. Primary responsibilities are the installation of Electrical Electrical troubleshooting welding and basic layouts. Maintenance Mechanics will need to be able to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize down time. The capability to also handle facility maintenance as assigned. Must be able to workflexible hours and overtime.
Responsibilities:- Perform basic to advanced troubleshooting of equipment mechanical and electrical issues.
- Have working knowledge of the basic operations and fundamentals of major factory systems.
- Interpret and apply local state and federal technical codes.
- Interpret and revise equipment hydraulic and piping drawings blueprints and schematics.
- Install and troubleshoot shafts bearings seals and gaskets.
- Install maintain repair and troubleshoot equipment generally classified as mechanical power transmission including gearboxes/drives transmissions conveyors (belt wire and rollers.)
- Install troubleshoot and align shafts and couplings (laser and dial alignment).
- Fabricate and install tubing and piping systems including fittings manufactured from various materials.
- Install maintain rebuild replace and troubleshoot valves centrifugal and positive displacement pumps and mechanical seals.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems including air compressors and air handling units.
- Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
- Maintain and repair fired heaters and boilers including Electrical heating and hot water boilers.
- Maintain repair and replace fans and blowers.
- Weld carbon steel using the SMAW and GMAW processes and weld stainless steel metals using the SMAW process.
- Cut metals using plasma and/or oxyacetylene equipment.
- Optimize mechanical equipment operation.
- Install facility machinery.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery to include urinals toilets windows tile carpet doors etc.
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs
- Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.
- Maintain and secure work tools.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Follow all Lock out/Tag out procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
- Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced skills required in electrical/ installation

***MUST HAVE FAST PACED MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED***
Requirements:
- Must have a HS Diploma/GED
- Two-year technical degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years full time industrial millwright experienceOR
- Fully completed state approved millwright apprenticeship and a minimum of 2 years full time industrial millwright experienceOR
- Minimum of 5 consecutive years of full time industrial millwright experience (with HS Diploma)
- Must be able to pass entrance testing requirements (written and welding )
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check
