Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service product information and warranty inquiries.
- Manage and process warranty claims in compliance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Verify warranty coverage and maintain accurate documentation of service history parts and repairs.
- Collaborate with the technical team to assess validate and coordinate warranty repairs.
- Schedule repair appointments monitor service timelines and provide customers with status updates.
- Coordinate technician workload with the service department to maximize efficiency.
- Assist customers with parts identification and ordering ensuring correct components are provided.
- Work with inventory staff to ensure parts availability for service and warranty needs.
- Prepare and deliver detailed operations reports on service activity warranty claims and customer feedback to management.
- Stay current on latest engine technologies and product specifications to give accurate service advice.
- Work closely with technical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and service recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Experience in marine engine or automotive service industry.
- Understanding of engine systems for troubleshooting and service advice.
- Familiarity with Mercury Marine products and warranty procedures.
- Proficiency with SAP ERP for service warranty and inventory management.
