We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Material Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Material Engineer you will play a crucial role in developing testing and improving materials used in various products and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct comprehensive material analysis and testing to evaluate properties performance and quality
- Develop and optimize materials to meet specific product requirements and performance criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and improve product designs
- Investigate material failures and provide recommendations for improvements
- Design and implement new testing methodologies to enhance material evaluation processes
- Analyze data and prepare detailed technical reports on material properties and performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in materials science and engineering
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in material selection and usage
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the teams knowledge base
- Participate in project planning and execution adhering to schedules and budgets
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Materials Science Engineering or a related technical field
- Professional engineering registration (specific to UAE if applicable)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in materials testing equipment CAD software and data analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of material properties testing methods and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to materials engineering
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring junior engineers
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Experience with project management and adherence to schedules and budgets
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with advancements in materials science
