As a Head Barista you will promote coffee consumption of the resort by storytelling upselling and by monitoring the beverage service.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Train new employees on barista skills coffee preparation and customer interaction.
- Schedule shifts and manage staffing levels to ensure efficient operations.
- Customer Service
- Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for customers.
- Address customer concerns and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
- Promote loyalty programs and special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Inventory and Supply Management
- Oversee inventory levels and order supplies in a timely manner maintaining adequate stock of coffee beans milk syrups and other ingredients.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing for all coffee-related products.
Operational Efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar including equipment serving area and seating areas.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards including food safety protocols and cleanliness regulations.
Promotions and Marketing
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies to drive customer traffic and increase sales.
- Create innovative promotions and events to attract new customers and engage with the local community.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma
- Previous experience in same position for at least 1 year.
- Luxury hotel experience is a must
- Passion for excellent service
- Excellent team player and great communication skills
- Ensure that all beverages are prepared to the highest standards following recipes and quality guidelines.
- Monitor coffee bean freshness and maintain equipment for optimal coffee extraction.
- Implement quality control measures to consistently deliver premium coffee products.
