What will you be doing
- Assists the Marketing Manager in maintaining an implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
- Identifies and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately
- Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.
- Self motivator and outgoing enabling to socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.
- Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to the sponsorship proposals; negotiations and letters of thank s and appreciation.
- Assists the Marketing team in handling the events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to make sure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts
- Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors
- Assists the Marketing team to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media electronic and print local national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
- Hosts members of the media strategic partners and top clients at the propertys functions and events.
- Assists the Marketing team in the production of all promotional material including gathering of supporting data and collateral material.
- Takes photographs of all internal functions Banquet and Conference functions and VIPs in the hotel visiting.
- Attends all events and promotions.
- Press cuttings of the Arabic and English publications.
- Submits a monthly report to Marketing Manager updating on all matters related to the activities within the department.
- Attends division and general meetings whenever required
- Undertakes such additional duties as may be required by the General Managers the Area Director of Sales & Marketing the Director of Marketing and Communications and Corporate Marketing at any given time.
- To promote efficiency confidence courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
- To generally promote and ensure good interdepartmental relations.
- To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
- To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
- To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
- To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
- Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
- To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
- To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
- To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
- To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
Additional Information :
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum of 12 years experience in 5* hotel.
- Experience in the GCC and/or Middle East Region is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required.
- Be committed to exceeding guest expectations
