Our client a leading wellestablished Media Agency is looking for a Finance Manager to join them in Dubai office.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver critical business analysis as well as defining and reporting significant financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful & impactful business decisionmaking.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams to drive financial performance and support business initiatives.
- Deliver timely and accurate executive level reporting and insights through effective story telling.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Effectively work across matrixed organizations maintaining credibility and positive relationships with key business partners and collaborators across the geographies and company.
- Oversee all related functions in the accounting department including accounting operations general ledger and financial reporting functions
- Manage preparation of monthly quarterly and annual consolidated management reports on a timely basis
- Lead all audit and internal control operations and ensure adherence to local statutory financial reporting requirements
- Oversee the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Manage and mentor team based in both in the UAE KSA & across MENA & Europe.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daytoday operations and investments.
- Oversea treasury strategy to optimize riskfree yield from excess cash on balance sheet
- Lead implementation of any accounting related technology
- Manage key relationships including auditors banks payment providers and insurance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance areas related to financial management. Chartered Accountant or CPA ACCA or equivalent is preferred
- 10 years of experience in Financial Management and Accounting. Audit experience is preferred
- Experience in the UAE is a must.
- Organized detailed proactive and selfmotivated.
- Independent and strong team player with ability to build rapport and collaborative working relationships with all levels.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and can communicate well (both written and verbal)
