Our client is a fastgrowing caf in Dubai offering French and Mediterranean cuisine with over 100 seating capacity and 24/7 operations. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Waitress to manage their frontofhouse team and ensure a high standard of customer service.
The Head of Waitress will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the frontofhouse team ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining experience for all guests. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills experience in managing staff and a deep understanding of hospitality service in a busy restaurant environment.
- Manage and supervise the waitstaff ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts.
- Train and develop the waitstaff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high operational standards.
- Create staff schedules and manage shift coverage to meet the demands of the caf .
- Handle customer inquiries complaints and requests in a professional manner.
- Ensure the caf complies with health safety and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless operations between frontofhouse and backofhouse.
- Monitor the cleanliness and ambiance of the caf ensuring it reflects the caf s brand and quality.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
- At least 5 years of experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a handson approach.
- A customerfocused mindset with the ability to handle highpressure situations calmly.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the UAE.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and public holidays.
